I spent the afternoon yesterday making up this little pincushion and stitching on Noah's Sub while watching the Terminal on dvd. What a great movie - I always enjoy Tom Hanks' movies.
Indigo Rose's Nanna's Afghan, stitched on 32 count brittney using DMC Threads.
I found my inspiration for finishing the pin cushion recently on this website. If you are after some great ideas for finishing your pieces, this is the place to look. Deb Hunter has truly wonderful stitched work - Shepherd's Bush, the Drawn Thread, and the Sweetheart Tree just to name a few.

Wow!! Your pincushion is gorgeous! That is exactly what I want to learn now! Did you take a class? Lovely stitching. And Deb's album is wonderful!!! I will have to look through all the albums--she must get in lots of stitching time! :)
Wow, Katrina - that came out great! You are so talented with your finishing :-) Sure, the Celtic Winter SAL sounds wonderful! I was thinking maybe a heathery or lavender from Silkweaver.... hmmmm.... I will have to order this chart next time I make an order.... don't want to pay for shipping for just one item though :-)
Gorgeous is exactly the word that came into my head when I got the first glimpse of your pincushion!!
This is very, very pretty Katrina - as always! :-)
gorgeous Katrina!!
Katrina,
This looks so pretty! Where did you get the pattern? I haven't found a site to download it from....
Katrina that's just an awesome freebie I love it and what you've done with it!
