Lots of Books

Looking back at the books I've read since my last book post, there's been quite a few and a real mixture in genres from crime, thriller, mystery and a bit of romance. Several were read during my summer holiday break, and a lot of early mornings when I'd wake way before DH and Hannah during our stays at the beach.

I also really enjoyed Steve Robinson's genealogical crime series, five books in total, and look forward to number 6 coming out a bit later in the year.

This is my current library pile. I've just finished the Shadow Sister by Lucinda Riley, the 3rd in series and absolutely loved it, one of my favourites this year so far.

What have you been reading lately?

I've just finished Nowhere Man - a good entertaining read. Currently reading Caraval by Stephanie Garber,it's a teen/Young adult novel quite descriptive and it reminds me of Erin Morgenstern's The Night Circus.

You've gotten through a lot of books! I've literally just finished a biography of Queen Victoria that I have been working on since Christmas. Really interesting, and learnt a lot of new things. Ready for a novel now though x

You've been doing a lot of reading! I just finished The Handmaid's Tale, which I read the first time in high school, but didn't really get. Starting The Chaperone by Lian Moriarty.

I'm aiming to read one book a month this year but I'm still only half way through my February book 'The Trouble with Goats and Sheep'. x
