Spring Violets Finish

Thank you to everyone who's stopped by with more birthday wishes, and comments on my gifts, I really appreciate it.

This is the lovely pot of hyacinths that I received from my in laws, Heather and Cliff, aren't they gorgeous, and very highly scented.

So here is Spring Violets, all finished. Such a lovely stitch, I love the colours in this.

Spring Violets by Country Cottage Needleworks

Stitched on 30ct Buff Shannon with Crescent Colour and DMC threads

sorry the pic is a little dark, the light wasn't too good. I'm not sure what I'll do to finish this, I might see if I can find a white frame for it.

Today its Sampler Gameboard SAL day with Kath. This is what it looked liked at the end of last week's session, another two houses and motifs done. Tonight I'll start working on the border and alphabet.

Gosh you stitched Spring Violets fast! You're making me want to get out one of LHN/CC charts ;)

Your birthday gifts were lovely, you're a lucky girl.

Aren't each of those houses on SGB a lot of work for such little squares? Fun though :)

Belated 'Happy Birthday'!! Hopy you had a very, very happy one!

Your birthday gifts are lovely. Lucky you!

Your stitching and framing is great (as always) but I'm especially loving the loprello. It must feel good that you're almost done putting it together.

The hyacinths are beautiful, and I bet they do smell wonderful. I'm looking out the window at snow, again, ugh!!! Sure wish I could look out and see some flowers.

Love the way Spring Violets turned out, such pretty colors.
