I thought I'd share a few pics of some of my "crafty" presents. As part of my parent's gift they gave me a voucher to my LNS so during my lunchbreak yesterday I picked up a new rotary mat board (my old one only had cms on it) and these lovely fat 1'4's of pinkey red fabric. You can also see the gift from my little kiwi group of stitching friends, the "Doris" ladies (aka Kath, Lisa, Pat and Wendy) I received an 8 " square ruler, and some mother of pearl buttons - thanks ladies :)
Wendy also spoilt with me some fabric, a small scrapbooking album kit, some heart buttons, and this goregeous bracelet which her friend had made especially for me.
I got home from work yesterday to find a box waiting on the doorstep from Kath containing not only some Easter eggs for Glenn and I but all these wonderful gifts - manuka body lotion and shower gel which smells divine, some scrapbooking ribbons, lovely fabric and this ever so cute Shepherds Bush little needleroll, its so sweet Kath and I just love everything!
A small parcel had arrived last week from Karen but I was very good and put it away out of sight until Monday. Well, it contained this needleroll!
Last night I put the final stitches into Spring Violets and started on my next Little House Needleworks pattern - Berries, one of the fruits series. I'll have a pic of this, and my Sampler Gameboard progress tomorrow.
righto, off to sew a little more on Leporello. Take care xx
