Sunday

I thought I'd share a photo of Glenn's current work in progress today, our 2nd bathroom. This is a "before" photo, taken Saturday morning. He's been in there hammering away quite happily, but quite loudly too I must add, and I even had to take some framed pieces down in our lounge, as the vibrations were making them jump around a little :)

I've had a bit of "stitchfest" over the past few days, the stitching retreat got me all inspired I think! And guess what, I'm all caught up with Chatelaine's Stitching Leporello! Part 3 & 4 consisted of only a few hours stitching each but at least they're done, and I'm all ready for Part 5 which will be out in the next few days. I wonder if August's will be a a biggie?

Mermaid Heart has received a little bit of attention, how could it not, its such a pleasure to stitch (please excuse the creases, lol)

And this is Alphabet Wreath by JBW Designs to be made into a buttoned pillow some time.

Stitched on 28ct cream quaker, using Gentle Art Sampler threads.

I substituted a gold bell for the silver, and need to pick up some more of the Mill Hill red hearts as it still needs one more. A lovely quick stitch.

Then last night I started on the first of Little House Needleworks' Seasonal Pillows, Season of Rest.

Tonight we have Glenn's parents, Heather and Cliff and my Mum, Dad, and niece Zoe coming for dinner. It was Cliff's birthday last Tuesday and Glenn's is this coming Wednesday, so its become bit of a tradition to have dinner at our house on the Sunday in between.

Enjoy the rest of the weekend my friends :)
