Coffee anyone?

Here's my progress on Coffee Menu as of last night, not far to go now is there?

This has been a very enjoyable stitch, and I don't think it will be long before I start another Little House Needleworks or even a Country Cottage Needleworks design, may be this one?

I joined the LHN yahoo group a few weeks ago, and its very prolific with lots of posts each day, but very enabling! If you're a LHN fan, you can check it out here:

After browsing through my very small collection of LHN and Country Cottage patterns the other day I thought to myself that I'd like to start collecting a few Crescent Colour threads so I've signed up for the Monthly Bits club at Stitching Bits and Bobs. Seemed like a great deal to me, especially with free postage worldwide. I'm already looking forward to the first installment arriving.

Tonight I thought I'd work on the monthly SAL I'm doing with the kiwi girls for last year's JCS ornaments. This month's choice is Peace In the World by Charlotte's Web Needlework. Speaking of ornies, while having a tidy in my cupboard at work yesterday I came across my very neglected work stitching project, a Mill Hill stocking ornament. Its 3/4's done but I can't honestly remember when I last stitched on it, sometime last year, lol. So I'm going to rescue it and finish it perhaps on the weekend.

almost forgot, a little bit of new stash this week - I stopped by my LNS and picked up the new DMC Color Variations threads yesterday. The colours are just gorgeous, and already my mind is ticking over with possible ideas for using them. I also found this fat 1/4 of red fabric, and picked up some buttons for covering for a finishing technique I'm going to try out sometime soon.

Lastly for today, I received a small parcel of goodies from Lisa in the post. This was a complete surprise as I wasn't expecting anything. Isn't it lovely when you get surprises like this,totally out of the blue, it just made my day. Especially since I'd liked the Friends pattern for ages, now how did you know that Lisa? :) Thanks again Lisa for the surprise, and your kindness, I love everything.

I hope your week is going well :)

I love your Coffee Menu :-) It is on my list for this year, but I still haven't fit it in... I have the perfect place for it in the kitchen... I bet you do too :-)

The new Just Cross Stitch arrived yesterday with an article on Country Cottage Needleworks and a super cute little design called Cottage Garden! A must stitch, really!!!!

Awesome new stash, you lucky lady, you :-) {{{Hugs}}}

PS - Mike posted off your fabric a couple of days ago :-) Thanks again!

I'm so happy that you like your package. A very small token of thanks for being such a good stitching friend. :)

Coffee Menu looks great! There's something about that one isn't there? :) I must admit, I can't keep up with the posts on the Yahoo group - but it is great to get the news about new releases etc.

Coffee menu is looking really good.

Yes I think we have the same friend Anne, she is lovely isn't she we have been emailing each other for a good 5years or more now, tho' I've been a bit neglectful of her of late, but she knows I'll be back again. Her eldest has had a baby boy - so is it the same friend?

Katrina, I really like Coffee Menu and I get so tempted to stitch it every time I see it. :D
The CCN design you linked is really adorable and I love the saying in it!
