Drawn Thread's Real Roses

after dilly dallying around I've finally picked up Real Roses again, lol. I remembered why I wasn't enjoying working on it: the Needlepoint silk threads in the kit have been cut into quite short lengths, and it seems like you only make a few stitches before having to change threads. I'm obviously a long thread girl!

Here's a pic after last night's stitching.

They look very pretty, although I can understand why you don't like working on this project. I am also a long thread person and hate having to weave it in every 5 stitches.

But if the effect is going to be well worth it...

It is looking sooooo beautiful! Thanks for the heads up on the length of the silks - I have this in my stash and plan to do it, of course - but like you, I am a long thread person too! That is what Thread Heaven was made for (lol)
