Midweek Break

Last week I headed away for a couple of days on a work trip to Taupo.

Apart from one morning of very heavy rain, the weather was just perfect to take in some of the sights.

There was even time for a spot of shopping on Wednesday morning when we headed over to Rotorua  - I may have even done some secret Christmas shopping. We also found the gorgeous patchwork and sewing shop, Cottage Flair. It's been some years since I last shopped there, and I'll share next time the goodies I bought.

I'm already looking forward to our next visit there, in January for our annual summer holiday.

See you soon x

Beautiful scenery and I do forget that Jan is summer in your part of the world. Looking forward to seeing the goods you purchased. Mary@stitchingfriendsforever

Wow! The water is so very blue there at Taupo! And is that bird common or rare? Interesting with the white tuft UNDER it's beak... Of course, I would notice things like that! Ha! Wonder what you bought??? Hugs!
