Christmas Parade 2014

One of our favourite things to do at this time of the year is go along to our little town's annual Christmas parade.

The parade was organised a bit different this year - it started later in the day and only had one trip down the main street as it went onto one of our local parks where everyone gathered to find out the winners of the various categories for best float, etc.

Hannah was so excited!

We met up with Mum and Zoe

Always my favourite, the pipe band

There's Santa!

And the highlight of this year's parade, a foam canon on the local radio station's float!

Kids and adults alike were in their element!

Another highlight of the day was Hannah's photo with Santa, the first time she's been happy to sit there :)

See you soon x

That looks like such amazing fun!! When I see things like this I really wish we lived in a smaller town instead of a city :(
The kids definitely look like they had a ball :)

Such a great time you had at the parade. I grew up in a small town, too, Katrina, and fondly remember the parades :) Hannah looks like she had a grand time!

I am from a big city (San Francisco!) so parades were big but impersonal... and certainly not family or kid friendly! I remember going downtown AFTER all that was done, to see Santa at Macy's... THAT was always fun! Small town looks great!! Glad Hannah enjoyed sitting with Santa this year--it is a good picture! Hugs!
