Baking in my new kitchen

Once our new kitchen was functional, my baking mojo returned and over the past few Sundays, my usual baking day, I've been trying out some new recipes for our lunch box treats.

From Treats from Little and Friday, chocolate chippie biscuits, and I added some smashed up Easter eggs from Hannah's stock pile.

This divine oaty ginger slice recipe is by NZ Masterchef 2012 winner, Chelsea Winter

A friend gave me a dozen or so fresh passion fruit recently so I made up some passion fruit muffins, following a  recipe from Gran's Sweet Treats book

It had been awhile since I'd made a fruit loaf of any sort and this simple walnut and date loaf was very tasty, recipe also from Gran's Sweet Treats book.

I'll be back soon with a stitching update :)
