Holiday Time - Shopping

Hello there

I always like to check the local knitting or sewing shops when I'm on holiday and this time I found a gorgeous little knitting shop on the main street near where we stayed. Unfortunately, the owner doesn't have a website but it's one of the loveliest wool shops I've been to around New Zealand - lots of new patterns, wool everywhere and samples, and lots of different accessories. I couldn't resist this polka dot knitting needle bag, you all know how much I'm fan of polka dots!  I also picked up a new set of stitch holders since my other ones are years old.

The little angel pattern was from Cushla's Village Fabrics in Devenport.

It's actually a little kit with everything needed so I'm looking forward to making it up soon.

The other thing I like to do on holiday is to purchase a charm for my Pandora bracelet.

This is one of the latest releases and is a Fizzle Murano charm.

I forgot to take a photo of my new shoes - a few new pairs, getting ready for summer!

Hannah also did some holiday shopping, she's a fan of new shoes too, and Lego Friends and her special holiday treat was her first pair of roller skates.

She couldn't wait to get home to try them out, and there's only been a few tumbles so far .

See you soon x

I love you red bag! Maybe you'd like a swap buddie from the US. Hint, hint,LOL! My kiddo's are all grown but I spend alot of time with my Grands. Skate was a fav past time when I was a child. She'll be zipping around in no time! Glad to see you bought the safety equipment. It's always nice to have little treats to remember vacations by.
