A new start and some sewing

Hello there
I hope you had a good weekend. Ours was low key - we had a very sick little girl at the end of the week, yucky tummy bug, but she has bounced back to her usual happy self and couldn't wait to get back to school today.

I decided that it was time for a new start this week - this particular chart I've had kitted ready to go for months, intending it to be a gift for one of my close friend's little girl's first birthday back in March! I love the simple and sweet colours used in the design.

I recently put the finishing touches on some sewing I'd done back in May,
Made into small wall hangings, it's an easy way to finish off smaller stitched designs.

Go the All Blacks - our little rugby girl supporter watching the All Blacks vs France on Saturday night :)

Happy crafting :)

gorgeous projects. Glad to hear that Hannah has bounced back. John thought he was going to watch the blues/France tomorrow, but the person he was going with has let him down. hey have been going to a lot of the blues games lately, the next one being blues/chiefs. I told him I had better go to that one, he just laughed. Being brought up in the Waikato I support the chiefs.

Beautiful finishes! Your little girl looks so sweet but I bet she can cheer like a dedicated rugby fan can! ;-)

Your new start is so sweet Katrina!
I love your wall hanging finishes. I'm hoping to do a lot more of these with the help of some of my friends. I'm just not much for sewing.
I'm glad to hear that Hannah is well now. I imagine that she will pick up these tummy bugs from time to time now that she has started school. My sons were rarely sick until they started school.
