Hi friends
Quite some time ago one of my cousin's asked me if I could stitch her youngest daughter a birth sampler and I was happy to as I'd stitched one for both of her older children.
I had several designs in mind when it came to choosing the right one. I didn't want it to be a traditional baby sampler, especially since Molly is now 2!
I've always liked this design by Country Cottage Needleworks so went along with this for my choice. I finished the stitching on this piece back in mid October and found some time to make it into a simple wall hanging last week.
Joyful Summer by Country Cottage Needleworks
stitched with recommended threads, 32ct ice blue Belfast linen
I found the pretty sparkly buttons at my local sewing shop, and they were the perfect match for the turquoise blue fabric.
Have a happy day x
