Good morning friends, and what a frosty & chilly start we've had to the day. No snow here though, like down in the South Island, brrrrr.
Thanks for all the lovely comments left about my recent finishes - I'm hoping to spend a bit more time at my sewing machine this weekend as I've got a little pile of stitched projects to make a dent in! I spent a bit of time at the local sewing shop recently to match up some fabric and buttons for the next lot of wall hangings I'm intending to sew :)
This morning I have the lastest progress pic of my Mystery sampler for you to see. The colours look a bit washed out in this photo, it's been really hard to get a decent photo with the true thread and fabric colours showing. I'm really enjoying stitching on this piece and have trouble putting it down at night!
A little while ago, I was really excited to find a New Zealand stockist of Blackbird Design patterns, Broomfields in Christchurch, so a little bundle of patterns soon arrived in our mailbox.
I also have Christmas Garden on it's way to me as soon as its back in stock - that's one design that I really can't wait to start!
Friday seems to have rolled around very quick this week and at the moment it looks like we'll be having a quiet weekend around home. When I finish work today I'm heading to the hairdressers for a cut and colour, and then later, I'm off for a treat - a facial! I'll be a new woman by tonight, lol.
Thanks for stopping by xxx
