Fresh Fallen Snow

The Little House Needleworks ornament in this year's JCS ornament magazine was one of my favourites.  I didn't have the recommended Belle Soie threads so I went with Crescent Colours Toasted Marshmellow and Weeping Willow, which matched perfectly to some green felt I had in my stash.

What was I just saying about our lovely weather yesterday? Its pouring down out there this morning, typical spring!

Thanks for stopping by, see you soon x

Absolutely gorgeous. It is lovely and sunny up here in Auckland although rather windy, but, being Auckland it could change any minute.

This ornament caught my eye as well Katrina and I am hoping to stitch it up over the weekend. Love your finishing, great idea to match the threads first to the felt.

Ooh I love it! Gorgeous finish. You are such a speedy stitcher! I only just got my magazine in the mail last week and browsed through it over the weekend... I realised I hadn't pre-ordered one this year and thankfully my LNS still had a few copies left - *phew* :o)
