From the Weekend

The snow has gone here (its still coming down heavily in other parts of the country) but its left behind some very chilly weather, it was absolutely freezing today with gusty winds. You wouldn't think that spring is supposedly only a few weeks away!

Just sharing a few snaps from the recent weekend. It was a pretty good one - I spent a few hours on Saturday having a stall at one of the local Church halls, selling some of Hannah's clothes she's grown out of, and some baby toys and equipment. I did really well and pocketed a few $$$, just in time for a shopping trip coming up soon.

The rest of the weekend was spent doing the usual things - baking: some yummy hokey pokey chocolate button ('cause I didn't have any chocolate chips) muffins

- spending time with my two favourite girls

- a bit of stitching - more on my french sampler

and some crafting - another LHN ornie stitched earlier in the year finished into a hanging pillow ornament.

Well, I'd better go and check on our dinner - have a fun day. See you soon xx

Your LHN ornie is adorable! I love how you've finished it.
The baking looks wonderful too. As our fall approaches I am getting the urge to bake more. Problem is, the boys are no longer here at home to eat it. Guess who that leaves?

We have been seeing news coverage of the snow in NZ here in Sydney. Hope it is not too cold for you all and what with one thing and another NZ does not need too much more contend with. But spring is starting to spring here, so it will be with you soon. Daffs ad Jonquils are out and buds starting on the trees....so stay warm

Your ornament is so cute and love that Jardin Prive pattern. (I keep trying to resist buying it). I wish you could send some of that cold weather our way - here in the desert USA we are roasting - I'm so sick of summer!

Sounds like a lovely weekend!

What beautiful finishes.

I miss baking for sure that's one thing I "gave up" when I decided it was time to loose weight!
