Another Gift Finished & New Goodies

I was so pleased to have finally finished my latest knitting project the other day - this is for my niece Zoe for Christmas. It does seem a little weird to me to be giving a scarf as a Christmas gift (given that our Christmas Day temperature is usually in the vacinity of 25 degrees C) but I know Zoe will love it :) Its actually more darker in colour that what it shows in this pic.

A little parcel of treats has arrived from Amy @ Downsunshine Lane - a pre Christmas present to myself, lol. It contained the last of the Christmas Rules charts, a couple of Lizzie Kates, and two more of the Little House Needlework ornaments - I can't wait to stitch this series next year.

We've had some really hot days this past week, summer is well and truly here, and Miss H is so enjoying her new sandpit and being able to go swimming with Mummy & Daddy every day when we get home after work and daycare.

I'm really looking forward to Friday - I'm spending the day with some crafting friends for a sewing session. I've got my fabrics and sewing accessories all ready to go, so watch this space to see a couple more Christmas gifts finished :)
Enjoy your day, and thanks so much for stopping by -do come again!

What a georgeous scarf a beautiful warm colour for winter too. I always try and think of the whole year in gifts for Christmas as we don't get another go for a whole year! It'll be cold soon enough, there are always chilly nights even in summer!
