The Rain Fell Finish

I spent the day at home with Hannah on Monday - she'd been unwell late Sunday and then through the night, so while she napped curled up next to me on the couch for most of the day, I put the final stitches into The Rain Fell.

The Rain Fell - Little House Needleworks
stitched on 32ct steel grey belfast linen
with recommended threads - Crescent Colours & DMC

This was such an enjoyable design to work on, I think the pink thread did it for me - I just love pink!
I'm already looking forward to the coming weekend - on Saturday Kath and I are taking a little road trip to visit one of our favourite LNS's. I haven't been there in such a long time - I can't wait to see all the goodies that Sherelyn will have. She has the most gorgeous displays and stitched models in her little shop. I don't have anything specific on my stitching wish list at present but I'm sure I'll come away with a few treats :)

Very nice finish. I have this in my stash, but haven't started working on it. One of these days...
