A Lovely Weekend

We enjoyed some beautiful spring weather here over the weekend, just in time for the local Spring Festival, which was held Thursday through to Sunday. On Saturday morning Hannah and I went to the market day held in town to browse all the stalls, and to check out the Chili Cook Off. This year my work decided to put a team in and they did really well - all the chili was eaten! For a small donation you could get a small sample and all funds raised went to the charity of the particular team's choice. I haven't seen the mainstreet of our town so busy with people in many years - everyone was out and about in the sunshine, it was great to see.

Later on in the day I meet up with a friend to take a look at the Festival, which is held at a local events centre. We had a wonderful afternoon, there was at least 50 tempting stalls plus wine tasting and two cafes. I was very restrained and only bought some chocolate truffles and a handmade soap, ummm, mango butter.

It was also Father's Day here on Sunday so I organised a lunch for a few special Dads I know - we had a lovely few hours sitting out in the sunshine, munching on nibbles and partaking in a few drinks:)

The Tralala design I've been stitching for my niece is coming along quickly, I should have it finished tonight.

And look where I found Miss H last night! She loves helping me to empty the dishwasher but now her favourite thing to do is actually climb into it, lol.

Have a wonderful week :)

Hannah is so sweet! Count your blessings that she wants to help with the dishwasher; the day will come when she won't want to have anything to do with it! (I'm speaking from experience of course!)

Goodness, you never know where you will find her next Trina. One busy little munchkin!

Had a great time on Sunday, was nice sitting in the sun nibbling and partaking!

Your TraLaLa is looking lovely - it is nice to have a quick stitch sometimes.
Our dogs get into our dishwasher, I am sure Hannah is a lot more hygienic!

Arden also tries to climb into the dishwasher. And into the dog's indoor crate. LOL!
