Our Beach Weekend

As it was forecasted, we ended up getting a lot of rain on Saturday but we didn't let it spoil our weekend away.

This was the view out the lounge window on Saturday afternoon:

And this was the view on Sunday morning, the two days couldn't have been more different!

We all enjoyed a long stroll down the beach after breakfast. I love this pic of Glenn testing out the water :)

Hannah enjoyed the fresh air with her Daddy too

our niece Zoe had a ball too, she was in her element. Later on in the day when it warmed up, lol, she even went for a paddle. I got wet up to my knees, and that was as far as I was going in!!

It was a super weekend and we all thoroughly chilled out and relaxed, which was the whole point to the weekend. I got quite alot of stitching done, I'd taken a small Easter design to work on, and read lots of my book. We all had naps during the weekend, or snoozie woozies as my Dad calls them, lol, so came back home yesterday afternoon feeling very refreshed.
Thanks for coming by here, and for the wonderful comments left about Blessings and Kind Wishes, really appreciate them.
Bye for now :)

A snoozie woozie sounds DIVINE! Sounds like you had a great weekend despite the weather Saturday.

What I wouldn't give for a stroll on the beach. It's snowing here, the first "major" storm. I can't wait for spring!

It sounds like a nice, restful weekend. I'm sorry Mr. Sun didn't cooperate.

Looks like a fun holiday. (My mom calls "snoozy woozies" nippy naps. I think that works better for us since we don't call diapers nappies!)
