Another Bag Pattern, lol

I have a serious addiction when it comes to fabric bags - there are so many patterns in my sewing stash already but the other day when I stopped by my quilting LNS I couldn't resist this lovely pattern. Lucky for me, the fabric was included in the kit so I'm all set to go. The best thing about this pattern is its been designed by a very clever local quilter.

This week I've been concentrating on my squares for the Ackworth Friendship RR which I need to send off soon and now my piece is all set to go. I've used Crescent Colours Milady Teal threads and as you can see in the photos, the thread is a silvery blue colour. Very pretty.

We've had quite a bit of well needed rain here over the past week and the other day I left my umbrella out on the deck to dry off a bit. Poppy thought it would make a good hidey place and she slept under there all morning.

thanks for stopping by!

Fun bag, and your squares turned out lovely. I really like the teal you chose for them. Poppy looks quite comfy in her shady spot.

Katrina, from one fabric bag lover to another, I'm drooling! LOL I love your new pattern, and how cool that the fabric came with it.

Your finishes are just awesome!!! You've been a busy lady. And I adore your Ackworth stitching. :)

I'll check back soon to see that new bag pattern all stitched up. ;)
