I stayed up late last night to put the final stitches into the first of my 2009 Christmas ornaments, just in time for another January finish.
This is Let it Snow, a design from the Just Cross Stitch 2008 Ornaments magazine by Country Cottage Needleworks. Seems a little strange to be stitching a snowman in the middle of a hot summer!
I've been doing a bit of stash reorganisation and came across a few kits that I'd like to get on and stitch soon -Just Nan's Spring Spell and Cherry Blossoms Biscornu by the Sweetheart Tree.

A nice ornament. I also marked it with a cross when I was leafing through the ornament issue the first time.
Those ST charts are very beautiful. Your friend will love them.
Your ornament finish is beautiful. You did a great job on it!
Lovely finish. I wish I could send you some of my snow and cold, then it wouldn't seem so odd to be doing a winter design (and it might get a bit warmer here too). Fun stash you pulled out to pick to work on, Spring Spell is my favorite. Congratulations on your earlier finish of the Christmas flips, they look wonderful. The pictures of Hannah were adorable too, she certainly is enjoying her toy basket. What fun now that she's crawling, she's going to be keeping you very busy.

Your ornament is so cute! I think I'll have to stitch that one this year.
Both the ornie and the Flip-it's are lovely, congratulations

What a cute finish! We have plenty of cold and snow here...a hot summer sounds great right about now :)
