Last of the ornie stitching and a Christmas RAK

Last night we had the annual Christmas party at my work where the clients invite their families to come along, and we also invite people from the community that have supported us over the past twelve months. It was a lovely evening but I was so pleased to get home as I'd been at work since 8am.

So tonight I'm looking forward to chilling out after work in front of my sewing machine, getting a few ornaments made up :) It will be a quick easy dinner for Glenn and I - steak, new season potatoes and salad since its going to be a really warm day here.

now for some photos - the last of my stitched ornaments for 2007:

Lizzie Kate's Rejoice - a freebie which can be found here

Happy Stitching Ornament - a freebie by Elizabeth's Designs

A Dog's Christmas - Elizabeth's Designs, JCS ornaments mag 2007

Fill with Love - Designs by Cathy Jean, from the 2007 JCS ornaments magazine

Andrea totally surprised me with this sweet Christmas RAK - a Little House Needleworks chart and a beautifully stitched fob - which I've actually hung on our Christmas tree :). Thanks again Andrea, it was really wonderfull to receive your gift in the mail.

Our Christmas tree is finally decorated after sitting for a week with only the lights on it :) I was a bit worried that little Miss Poppy might try to investigate it and send it flying but so far so good, I haven't even seen her go near it yet. She has a new sleeping possie, up on the top of our kitchen pantry cupboard is an empty basket and she has taken to sleeping in there during the day. So funny.

Will be back soon with photos of our Christmas decorating. Bye for now!!

Wow- you have been busy with your holiday stitching! I didn't know Rejoice was a freebie. I stitched it this year for an exchange and it was a bonus in a Christmas kit. The freebie link didn't work, but I was entirely surprised to learn it is a freebie - LOL I got your gifts out to you, by the way, despite the snow, on Monday :-)
