Wednesday evening

Thank you for your comments about the Shamrock needleroll and friendship pillow, as always they are muchly appreciated. For Sylvie -the needleroll is a Sweetheart Tree design :)

Some lovely mail received today from Carol - Carol sent me a gorgeous Silkweaver fabric for a recent trade. I agree Carol, its going to be perfect for a Mirabilia design, uummm, which one though, tee hee!

Last night it was my monthly get together with my stitching friends and each year at this time we have a midwinter dinner. Everyone bought along something to contribute for the meal and we had a jolly good time, eating, chatting and not much stitching going on.

I've been working on my third "secret" project and hope to get a little more done on it tonight. Coffee Menu is calling out to me, especially as there's not too much to be done now before a finish but I'll try and resist :) Once these little projects have been done perhaps I can resume my normal stitching schedule? I've started kitting up two special projects this week, my friends' wedding sampler and ring pillow which are going to be my focus projects during July. I've chosen to stitch To Have and to Hold Sampler by the Sweetheart Tree, and the ring pillow design is a JBW Design in a recent issue of Just Cross Stitch. The wedding isn't until late October but I'd like to give myself plenty of time to get them both stitched.

Since reading Danielle's blog the other day, my mind has been fixated on this new class by Judy O'Dell.

I've been trying to "convince" my friend Shelley that she needs it too, so I don't feel so bad if I decide to buy it!! We can feel bad together!!

Before I go today, I found these couple of nice french freebies earlier on, Amitie and Friendship. Scroll down a bit on the page to find. Enjoy the rest of your week.

I'm glad the fabric arrived! Mike seemed to take forever to get it to the post office! Glad you like it :-)
