Monthly Freebie SAL

During the weekend it was the monthly freebie SAL over at the Needle and Thread board. I've got enough freebies printed off and filed away in folders to stitch a different one every month for the next 50 years or so :) Its a great idea. My February choice was the Aegean Twilight Small Sampler by Virginie Menzildjian, after seeing Christine's in January, (the pattern can be found here)



Stitched on 32ct ivory belfast linen using Aegean Twilight Silk 'n Colour.

For the past few nights I've been working on Mermaids of the Deep Blue, then tomorrow night, Thursday, will be my Drawn Thread project, Spot of Summer and the SAL with Cathy. I had thought Spot of Spring was going to be next on my list of Drawn Threads after summer but I might go for Welcome Spot instead as I don't have the fabric just yet for spring.
