New Stash

My lastest order from Stitching Bits and Bobs arrived yesterday. I got:

Celtic Winter - which I'm going to be starting later in the year as a stitchalong with Carol and some other ladies
Pretty in Pink - Brightneedle
Sampler Girls - M Designs
and some 28's Piecemaker needles - goodie, as I was onto my very last one, lol.

I'll try to resist starting any of these until I've made some decent progress on my wips, although the temptation may just get too much!

I've been able to cross off a couple of things on my wedding list this week - I made an order for an engraved wedding cake knife which I'd had my eye for quite some time, and I've also faxed away today my measurements for my shoes! I found a gorgeous pair that was just what I was looking for and the funny thing was during the weekend I was browsing through an older bridal magazine and found a page that I'd marked quite some time ago with a picture of the exact same shoes! Later this week I'll be contacting my friend who is going to do our makeup (myself and the bridesmaids) to see if we can get together soon to see each other has, if maybe I have to purchase any new make up, etc. Another job I'd like to done this week is speak with one of my cousins to see if he'd like to be "in charge" of the video recording. Not long now, only three and 1/2 months to go.

Tonight after work, I had my 6 weekly facial, eyebrow shape and tint, and eyelast tint. My skin feels divine! On Friday I'm off to the hairdressers for a colour and trim. Talkabout being pampered.

Hi Katrina - I am at work and don't have your email in front of me, but I have meant to get back to you - Periwinkle Prism looks like it would be gorgeous for Celtic Winter! Karen F. (stitchmania) and I are both using Blue Diamonds... Becky is stuck, cannot decide what to use... haven't really heard from anyone else yet.... I plan to work on Celtic Band Sampler tonight so that tomorrow is devoted to Mermaid Heaven :-) Have you decided yet how to personalize your CBS??
