Welcome to 2020, a brand new year! I hope the year is off to a good start for you so far.
We are back from our wonderful holiday to Melbourne, Australia and now enjoying a few days at home. Glenn went back to work today and I've started my annual summer holidays sorting out and tidying job list. At the end of the week we're heading to our favourite beach spot for ten days so I'm looking forward to a relaxing fun time, catching up with family and friends, hoping to get some reading and stitching done and enjoying the summer sunshine.
I hope you had a wonderful Christmas. We started celebrating the weekend before with the first of our Christmas catch ups with Glenn's family.
Then on the Monday evening it was round two, with my parents and niece.
Hannah received her annual Christmas pj's on Christmas Eve and we opened our presents since we were having an early start on Christmas morning. Very spoilt with lots of lovely gifts.
A special visitor stopped by Christmas morning to see us off on our trip.
We started our holiday with a flight from Napier to Wellington
Then later in the afternoon it was time to board our flight to Melbourne.
My aunty, uncle and cousins met us at the airport and then took us into the city to our accommodation. To our surprise, they'd arranged to stay Christmas night too so we were able to have dinner together, Japanese, can't say I've ever had takeaways for Christmas dinner before, ha ha.
I'll be back soon with more photos from our trip. See you soon xx
