Santa Sunday

My first 2018 Christmas ornament is finished - this lovely design by Little House Needleworks:

I'm stitching on Christmas ornaments every weekend, mostly Sundays, joining in with the #santasundayxs stitch along on Instagram. The plan is to get several stitched and then I'll have a making/sewing session, and try not to leave them until the few weeks before Christmas like I did last year!

See you soon xx

It is never too early for Christmas stitching, I tend to do mine rather too late every year. x

So lovely! Love your idea of stitching them on Sundays and finishing along the way. I always leave everything so late, so am trying to be better at NOT doing that. I have this one to stitch. You have inspired me to look it out and get going!

I love this one! Would be great to do a finishing day on Instagram every once in a while - I have a bunch that I need to finish!

I love this stitch, in fact I stitched the border but it did not meet up so I have to rip it out and start over. I think it's lovely and need to pull it out again. I love cardinals but they are especially meaningful for Christmas. Mary

Very, very nice! I am also trying to stitch and finish as many as I can. I’ve long envied Carol’s (Garden of Stitches) plethora of Christmas ornaments. It’s time I quit coveting and make it happen!

Lovely. It makes me think perhaps to start some stitching early this year for Christmas. Waiting for my Farmhouse Christmas 1st pattern to arrive.
