Latest Projects

I finished all the stitching on the Lizzie Kate mystery sampler earlier in the week- it just needs the beads and embellishments added, which I'll work on over the weekend. I'm also hoping to finish the first of my 2018 Christmas ornaments and move onto the next one.

In the meantime, here's an update on a few other projects I've got on the go at the moment:

Some Very Vanilla socks using the lovely Straycat sock yarn I purchased last year. This yarn is so lovely and soft. The little sock bag is also by Straycat Socks.

The little scissors were a Christmas gift from my friend Elizabeth, they are just perfect to go into my knitting bag.

This week I made a small start on Easter Peep Parade, I've had this sitting in my basket for ages.

I'm finding the fabric, 36ct WDW Chestnut, a little hard to work on in the evenings but I'm getting there!

This is where I'm up to on Feliz Navidad:

I had to do a little bit of frogging on the border, out by one stitch. I really hope it all meets up correctly at the bottom!

See you soon x

Oh what a pain with the stitch being out on your crosstitch. Hopefully you can do some fudging. Your socks are going to be lovely. Must have a look at getting some of that yarn, it's so pretty.Love the project bag.

Beautiful stitching. I just completed a Blackbird Designs project and when I got to the end of the border I was out by one hole, somewhere I had crossed over an extra thread. It made me sad unpicking it all and then restitching it, this is one of the worries with borders, every time I panic they won't meet. Good luck with yours. x

I hope your border on Feliz Navidad meets correctly, it is coming along beautifully. I love the socks, for the life of me I don't understand how that wool makes perfect stripes!!
