Not long now and my summer holiday break officially starts. It will be time to wind down and enjoy the next few days before the big day is here. I can't tell you how much I'm looking forward to the next few weeks!
This year for Christmas we are firstly meeting up with Glenn's family for Christmas brunch and then will be jumping in the car to head south to be with relatives for the rest of the day. Boxing Day we are having some of our family visit us for a barbeque. We've been enjoying some great Kiwi summer weather over the past few days so there'll be lots of swimming in the pool happening if it stays hot.
Plans for the rest of the holiday include our annual stay at Lake Taupo, and then a bit later in January a few days will be spent at the beach.
I finished all my gift stitching and other crafting earlier in the week, a bit later than I intended so I haven't managed to get a couple of my own Christmas projects completed but that's ok, I'll work on these over the holidays, or maybe start something new!
I just love my bowl of little Christmas pillows, this sits by the fireplace each Christmas.
This Christmas Carol is one of Hannah's favourites - this year it was sung by all the children at the school's end of the year assembly so I thought I'd share it with you today.
Well, that's it from me now until after Christmas. I'm incredibly grateful for all the support and comments left here on my blog and Instagram too, always appreciated xx. So thank you to all of you, the lovely readers of my blog out there.
Have a wonderful festive season - a happy, healthy, safe time with your loved ones.
Merry Christmas x
