At long last I have finally finished the Shepherds Bush Fold series!
The first kit arrived back in April 2014 and there were six kits in total, each one I thoroughly enjoyed stitching.
I pretty much thought right from the start of the series that I'd make the A Full Heart piece into a project bag of some sort. It was just a matter of finding some matching fabrics, which I did, picking up several suitable fat quarters at the local quilt show back in March.
I didn't follow any pattern to make this particular project bag, and its lined on the inside with a plain cream fabric. It turned out quite large but that's good as I can keep two projects - fabrics, threads and qsnaps - in there.
I had a new start the other night too:
Basket of Cherries by Blackbird Designs. I'm not sure if I'll stitch every one in the series but the ones I do, I'm intending to make into pincushions.
See you soon x

They are all fabulous Katrina especially the project bag
What a beautiful job you did, Katrina! Each piece is so ppretty all by themselves, but as a set, they're spectacular! You should be so thrilled.
What a great set.
The fabrics match perfectly.
That's a great idea to make a project bag.

Great new start also!

This is the first time I've seen these together as a set. They look fabulous! Glad to see you have put the project bag to good use already.
