Christmas 2015

Well here it is, the start of a brand new year - 2016! I send you all the warmest wishes for a year filled with lots of fun, love and laughter and many happy stitches too of course!

I've been meaning to share a little of our Christmas celebrations for the past couple of days but seem to be caught up in holiday mode and haven't quite made it to sit at the computer, apart from looking at my favourite stitching and crafting blogs!

What fun we had over Christmas this year! Lots of happy times with our family, and I was so thrilled to spend time with some of my cousins I hadn't seen in a few years.

We had a lovely day, spent with both sides of our families, lots of wonderful food and some great pressies.

On Boxing Day we took a trip up to Hastings to check out the sales. We were hoping to find a good deal on some outside furniture, which we did, and find a couple of other items. Poor Hannah, it's quite exhausting shopping the sales!

So now we are enjoying the slow holiday days and early next week we are heading away on our annual summer trip to Taupo - can't wait to spend some time chilling by the lake!

I'll be back soon to share some of the lovely gifts I received from my dear friends and the last Christmas project I finished on Christmas Eve.

See you soon xx

Great photos. My favourite has to be poor old Hannah soaking her feet, such a hard life, hehehehe. Enjoy your time in Taupo

I miss NZ Christmas in the summer. A day at the beach followed with a Christmas Pavlova. Ah, memories!

Looks like Hannah (and you guys!) had a pleasurable time this Christmas, even if she did have to stop to soak her feet! Funny picture...oh life is so hard... Ha!
