Christmas Decorating Day

Hannah was up bright and early on Sunday morning in anticipation of getting the Christmas tree and decorations out.

When did my little miss get so big!

A couple of new additions to our decorations this year:

Then it was time to start writing a letter to Santa

followed by Christmas cards for all the school friends.

Hannah was very happy to find a Lego Friends advent calendar waiting for her to open on Monday morning.

I'm so excited it's now December and Christmas is coming, my favourite time of the year.  The next few weeks will be crazy busy filled with lots of events to go along to, work things, birthdays to celebrate, and I'm so looking forward to it all!

See you soon x

We have all our decorating done and I have just wrapped my last gift. This morning I made 4 batches of shortbread ready for gifts, visitors and ourselves, Thursday I will make Ginger Shortbread, My late mother made them every Christmas for over 50 years, so, of course I can't have Christmas without them. Your tree looks really nice. Hannahs advent calendar looks pretty flash. I haven't seen one like it.

The Lego Friends Advent calendar is so cool. Wish they had that when my boys were little.

You are so organisesd. I have pulled out a Christmas table runner, and bought the cards for the kids to write in. On the plus side, my shopping is all done, now just needs to be wrapped. enjoy the month before Christmas.

You're so well ahead of the curve! Christmas is especially fun with excited kids - like Miss Hannah! I remember I used to do lots of Christmas baking with my son when he was little - lots of cutout cookies and coloured sprinkes!

Enjoy the festive season!

I have not started to decorate yet. I DID take off the Thanksgiving placemats today, and the tablecloth will be washed! Ha! Hannah surely is growing fast! I am sure she will love the season, just as you do! Advent calendars are a hit for kids! Lego should have come out with theirs years ago... Lovely decorations!
