Hello there
Well, this past weekend just flew by, and what a lovely few days we had. My cousin Donna from Palmerston North came to stay Saturday night with her new boyfriend Ross, so it was really good to finally meet him. We had a great catch up, lots of laughs as usual, and organised a weekend to meet up again before the end of the year.
A cold snap during the week bought another dumping of fresh snow on the ranges, this is the view from my work, very pretty but chilly!
Some new goodies arrived in the post, bought after the recent market in the US. I just loved A Yuletide Welcome when I first spotted it on the Plum Street Sampler blog last year after the Shepherd's Bush retreat so I was very pleased to see it was being released. I'm going to start the Forget-me-not Sampler when I go on holiday in a few week's time.
During the first weekend in September is when our town's annual spring festival is on and I was able to go along with friends on Friday morning. Aren't these different varieties of daffodils just gorgeous.
Hannah's school had their cross country on Friday afternoon so I went along to watch her race, and Zoe's too. Both girls did really well, and both were in bed early Friday night, lol.
I had to postpone my last hair cut and colour appointment due to being sick so I finally made it into the salon on Saturday morning, a lovely way to spend a few hours, lots of coffee and magazines!
My little stitching project over the weekend was this Santa from one of the new Prairie Schooler leaflets. I'm using my own choice of colours, DMC 321 and 3816.

Lucky you, you got Yuletide Welcome! That one is on my wishlist. I ordered a few of the new market pieces but I'm trying not to order anything else now until after Christmas. I think it might kill me, lol!
