Tail Feathers Block One Done

Hi there

A few years ago I was quite smitten when I spotted this gorgeous Block of the Month design, Tail Feathers by Cinderberry Stitches. So I placed an order for the kits, which came in the post over the next ten or so months. And that was as far as I got!  Several times since then I'd get the kits out, have a little look at the instructions and think oh boy, this is a bit tricky for me.

At the start of the year I decided that I needed to just get on with it, lol.  So slowly since then I've been working at putting together the first block and completing the stitchery work.  I have done a bit of this during my lunch breaks at work and my co workers have been a great help and had lots of encouraging words to get me moving along.

So I'm pleased to say that my first block is now all done.

So now it's onto block two!

Have a happy day xx

Beautiful Beautiful WOW. I love all the pretty stitching. And made into a quilt to? You keep going. What a treasure you will have when your done. And don't you love the change from stitching to quilting? Sounds lovely and I learned of Cinderberry from Mollie Makes Magazine:) Great work. love Annette
