Hello there,
look what has seen the light of day out of the depths of my stitching basket! Why yes, it's BD's Christmas Garden. I have been stitching on this the past few evenings and now one quarter of the design is finished.
Today I'm writing this post on my new computer! My other one had been playing up for months and it was getting old and really slow. Lucky I had everything backed up before it decided to completely crash on me!
Looks like we're in a wet weekend here so perfect for a bit of stitching once all my jobs are done for the day.
See you soon x

This design is gorgeous. I love BD's designs. I just wish I had more hours in the day. *Sigh*
:-)
Gorgeous design Katrina. I haven't worked on cross stitch for quite some time, I have just due cluttered a storage cupboard so now it is time to sit and stitch. have been doing wool appliqué -blanket stitch and have had extremely painful hands, hope it's not arthritis. Will see how I go with cross stitch and stitchery- not so heavy and hard on the hands I'm thinking

This is so pretty! I love the colors and your stitching is just beautiful! Love your floss holder, too!
Well, you are one fourth of the way AHEAD of me on this design! I have yet to put needle to thread on it. I have everything, except the ambition right now. Yours looks very very nicely done! Hugs!
Beautiful progress.
Katrina, I just finished my Christmas Garden and it is now at the framers. Do you know what initials you are going to use? I have two sons, so I started with myself and went back four generations of maternal relatives. My great grandmother has three names Agnes Mae Frances so I decided to use their first initial, maiden name initial and their married name initial. It worked out beautifully and I cannot wait to get it back to hang on the wall. For you consideration you might start with your daughter and go back four generations of her maternal relatives. Whatever you decide I know you will love it when complete. Respectfully, Debby
