Hello friends
I'm so excited its now December and Christmas is coming, my favourite time of the year. The next few weeks will be crazy busy filled with lots of events to go along to, work things, birthdays to celebrate, even a wedding to attend and I'm so looking forward to it all!
My cousin Donna came to stay with us over the weekend for a catch up as she is heading over to Melbourne this year for Christmas, lucky girl. I sent home with her this little stitchery from the Tis the Season booklet by Natalie Bird.
This weekend we decorated the Christmas tree, the first of Hannah's advent activities. Every year I pop little notes into her advent calendar with fun things to do in the weeks leading up to Christmas. So we popped on a Christmas cd and happily started decorating the tree. Well, I think we now need to go and find a second tree as I didn't even get a chance to hang up any of my stitched ornaments, as Hannah's collection covers the entire tree! lol. We're also going to have to buy some new lights as my trusty old set of fairy lights I've had since my flatting days are now only half working.
Before I go, I've been having a few problems with my computer, which is away for a few days being looked at. I'm quite behind in catching up with emails and reading blog comments but hope to remedy that as soon as it's back.
Have a happy day x

Christmas is my favourite time of year too. We put on a christmas cd while decorating the house and tree too. We didn't put them round the windows outside this year, but, have put some on a lovely big Azalea bush in the front garden. i am thinking I would love a reindeer lit up that
I can put on the front lawn!!!!!!!!!
OMG! Hannah is quite the grown up young lady! She'll be at school before you can blink :)
Christmas is my favourite time of year too. Lovely stitching. Great picture of Hannah.
How fun to decorate the tree. Hanna is darling and loved seeing her put an ornament on the tree. Those photos are the best. Nice gift to your cousin.
love Annette
Such a lovely ornament!
And seems you've a lot of decoration ahead :)

Lovely ornament and I love the pic of your daughter and the tree!
That's a gorgeous ornament, well done!
I also love Christmastime! Your daughter is adorable : )
Can't believe how fast your daughter is growing as I've been reading your blog a long time I guess! Love the tree decorating..so much fun. We are also running out of room for ornaments. I wish December was 2 months long....it's the best time of year and it goes by too fast.
Lovely ornament! :)
I did the same this last weekend! My tree is up and my house looks like Santa's village! :D hahahaha
Lovely little stitchery pillow.
It looks as though Hannah is doing a great job decorating for Christmas.

Love the pic of Hannah and the tree! I decorate our tree every year with my son on his birthday which takes place next weekend. For now just my little twig tree with my stitched ornaments is up.
Love the stitched pillow you gave your cousin. It's adorable!
