From the Weekend

Hello there friends, wow, how did it get to be July already? My blog posting has been a bit hit and miss over the past few weeks, even though I've been doing loads of stitching and other crafting, but I hope to remedy that over the next few days.

It was a very quiet weekend here, asides from heading to the supermarket to stock up and then DH treating us out to lunch yesterday, we had a very laid back Saturday and Sunday.  I had a few hours to myself on Saturday afternoon, which I spent happily at the sewing machine.  You'll see my results over the next few posts :)

As always, I've got several projects on the go - but not only stitching, knitting and crocheting too.  I pulled this Little House Needleworks pattern out of my stitching basket this weekend. I've had it all ready to go since last winter!

I've also decided on this year's felt Christmas ornament for Hannah's daycare friends, the pattern is from the Mollie Makes Christmas 2011 issue.

A little bit of knitting on these chilly evenings always goes down a treat, and presently I'm working on these easy fingerless mitts which are going to be a friend's birthday gift.

Hannah decided on Saturday night she was going to sort out her art storage box, talk about funny.  Can you tell she does a lot of painting and drawing? lol

I'll finish today's update with a pic of my other favourite girl, Miss Poppy, who is just so smoochie at the moment, she can't get enough cuddles from us.

See you soon xx

It looks like you have Hannah started early with the "stash" organization.

I love your LHN piece. I'm surprised I don't own it yet! Might need to remedy that.

Have a great week!

Those fingerless mitts look easy, easy enough even for a hopeless knitter like me. Is the pattern on-line somewhere?

Looks like Hannah has inherited some of her mom's creativity!
