We've been enjoying a rare day of winter sunshine so as usual DH and I have been making the most of it getting some outside gardening jobs done. Later on we're having some of our family and Kath around for a pre birthday celebration for DH, its his birthday on Tuesday.
As everything I needed to cook is nearly ready for our family roast dinner, I thought I'd share two ornament finishes for July, and what do you know, they're completely finished! I tried out a new- to -me finish this month, and have to say, I quite like how they turned out :)

I didn't see your name when I was reading this post and I wondered who was making a roast in July?! (It's 90F here today.) Of course it makes much more sense for you! :) Your ornaments turned out great!
SO cute!! I love that finishing technique, it looks fairly simple...but with an adorable result!! Kinda has a down home country-like feel to it!!
