A Few Finishes

Last weekend some of the ladies from my work were involved with a local Art and Craft Exhibition, displaying knitting, embroidery and crochet. As most of these items were being sold to raise funds for our service, I donated a couple of pairs of knitted handwarmers and also a knitted beanie and dolly blanket.

Hannah quite liked the hat - I guess I'll just have to make another one.

Just a simple granny square blanket, using up some leftover pink wool from another project and edged with white.

We've had some bitter winter weather over the past week or two - I actually thought it was going to start snowing here the other day and it never does here! But there are signs that spring is on its way - its definately lighter in the morning when the alarm goes off and look what's made an appearance in our garden - my favourite spring bulb.

The scent in our kitchen is just heavenly.

I'll see you soon with a stitching update. Thanks for stopping by!

I love the smell of narcissus flowers! I really must get down to learning crochet at some time! Hope the sale went well.

I love that little blanket - I wish I could crochet.

Hannah looks adorable in that little knitted hat.

Stay warm!
