Pretty Colours

Last year when I was only dreaming about being able to crochet I came across Lucy's very inspiring blog. I ooohed and aahhed over her gorgeous crocheted bag thinking that I'd never be able to make one myself after all my previous attempts at crocheting had completely gone terribly wrong.

Well lookie here, I did it! After several "intense" sessions my bag is finally finished.

Complete with little flowers and leaves :)

I also learnt how to crochet a nice scallopped edging.

I'm very proud of my little bag, well, its not so little as it fits in every single crochet pattern and accesory that I currently own! Now my niece Zoe has seen it she's requested one too. Oh dear, lol.

I know really well what you mean! When I first saw Lucy's blog last year I immediately fell in love for it, it's just so colorful and full of happiness!
And I did her bag too!
Big congrats for your bag, is really lovely, do you plan to make something else that come from Lucy?

You did a great job, and I love the flower trim you made - finishes it off beautifully! Bet the next one will be much easier for you, and Zoe will be thrilled.
