Daffodils Galore

On Sunday afternoon we bundled Hannah up in her hat and coat, and gumboots too, and took a drive just out of town to one of the local farms. During the month of September you can pick your own daffodils and make a donation to suport a great cause, Plunket.

There are paddocks and paddocks as far as the eye can see full to the brim of beautiful daffodils. Each year the family that own this property plant more and more. Its amazing.

Hannah had a great time, she even had her own bucket to use for picking.

So we now have a vase containing over 40 daffodils on the kitchen bench, what a lovely sight it is to see.

I seem to be making good progress on Cat Lessons, here's where I finished up on Saturday night -

Over the weekend I also made up the wall hanging I had in mind for the Peace, Joy and Love stitched pieces I'd finished recently. With the same backing fabric I made a fabric tie for the top of the hanging and also used gold thread to connect each little pillow.

Have a wonderful week!
