Latest Finish

I meant to post this finish earlier in the week but somehow the days have just got away on me. I had a meeting Tuesday night so that was a late finish home from work and then yesterday it was my lovely Mum's birthday so we had the family around for dinner. It was so nice having a midweek catch up with everyone and of course, it makes Mum's day extra special.

It was ANOTHER wet weekend here last weekend, so totally over wet weekends!! But of course there's more time for crafting when we're couped up inside the entire weekend. I finished several of my current projects - one I can't share just now, a knitted cardigan for Hannah which just needs to be blocked and have some buttons sewn on, and another gift to cross of my Christmas presents list :)

2007 Christmas Limited Edition kit by Lizzie Kate
fabric and threads supplied in kit

Big cousin Zoe stayed over with us on Saturday night and the girls had so much fun hanging out together. Its so funny watching Hannah try and copy everything Zoe does. They really are the best of buds!

Lookee what I spotted in the garden the other day, the first daffodil up - could it be that spring is nearly here???

Thanks for your visit today :)

Gorgeous Christmas finish Katrina. You lucky thing - a daffodil flowering - I think mine are weeks away yet :-( I am also really over wet weekends, our fabulous winter down south ended about two weeks ago and it's been awful since then.

We will be heading into autumn soon so it's lovely to see those daffodils again.

That LK finish is adorable...job well done.

Love seeing pictures of Hannah & Zoe...such good friends as well as cousins! That is a special relationship that will last them a lifetime too.

Daffodils are one of my favorite flowers, and they remind me of the talking flowers in Alice in Wonderland (Disney cartoon version..like they would talk to you if they could! LOL!

HAPPY STITCHIN'
