I cleaned up behind DH as he lined our new room with batts, now we're going to be nice and cozy - its been a bit drafty over the past few weeks, lol.
I baked and tried out some newly found recipes - chocolate sultana biscuits
and basic chocolate chippie muffins.
Hannah had her first visit to the hairdressing salon for her first proper haircut. She was a little angel sitting in the chair while my hairdresser snipped away - lollipops are a handy distraction!
and lastly, I marched along with several other hundred people from my local community at dawn this morning in the annual ANZAC parade, remembering all the soliders that have fought in the name of our country. This year I was given the special opportunity to lay a wreath at the memorial with my Dad, who is the chairperson of the local Returned Services Association Club. What a very moving and humbling occasion it was. My dear Grandad served during World War 2. He passed away several years ago and as always, today he has been very much in my thoughts.
Lest we forget.

What a sweet finish! How nice that you got the chance to lay a wreath as part of such a special occasion, that is a wonderful moment to remember.
Those biscuits look very yummy and the finish is adorable! I'm sure it was an important moment putting down the wreath because it was so personal.
