Red for February

I've just the nicest weekend away with my Mum, visiting with family in Palmerston North. We had a wonderful few days, and although I was having lots of fun, I really missed DH and Miss Hannah. I did manage to squeeze in a few hours of stitching while watching the opening ceremony of the Winter Olympics on Saturday afternoon so watch this space for my first "big" finish of 2010 coming up soon!

In the meantime, my two February ornaments are stitched and are currently in the process of being finished - of course, I had to stitch some redwork ones since its February.

I'm going to stitch Peace and Love from this leaflet over the coming months and hope to display them like on the leaftlet.

Our little Hannah is growing so fast these days, recently she decided she no longer wants to eat her meals in the highchair but has to sit with us at the breakfast far. Here she is the other night munching on a sweetcorn cobb, something we've been enjoying alot of over recent weeks.

Its really lovely to see that I've got some new friends stopping by - thank you for saying hello and I hope to visit your own blog very soon, and as always, thank you for the lovely messages you leave about my stitching finishes.

Have a happy day :)

Lovely redwork finishes! I particularily like the Joy finish. This is a designer whom I hadn't heard of before now. Thanks for introducing me to this one.
Hannah is adorable! She certainly looks like she's enjoying that corn.
