Post Christmas

Hannah is spending the afternoon/early evening with her Nannie and Grandad today so I thought I'd download our Christmas photos and send a few catch up emails while I have a bit of time :)

We had a wonderful Christmas Day, the first of many to treasure with our wee girl :) We started the day by opening a few pressies at home and then headed bright and early to my parents.

Watching my niece Zoe open her presents from Father Christmas was just priceless.

We all got thoroughly spoilt with lots of neat pressies, Glenn gave me vouchers to one of my favourite shops so I can spend them while we are on holiday.
Then it was off to Glenn's parents to have more presents, a yummy brunch and to spend a few hours with Glenn's brother and his family. Our little niece Alice is now 12 weeks old, she is so sweet.
Later in the day it was back to my parents where we spent the rest of Christmas day partaking in a good old fashinoned Kiwi Christmas - ham, pork, lamb, new season potatoes, lots of yummy salads, for dessert it was pavalova, fresh fruit salad. Just divine, lol.
A special visitor dropped by too :)

Just had to share this photo of the gorgeous gingerbread house one of my aunties made for her grandaughter who turned five on Christmas Day. It has become bit of a tradition that my aunty makes one for all the children in the family for their 5th birthday, this started way back when my brother turned 5 almost 30 years ago.

I hope you all had a fantastic Christmas, be back soon!
Happy stitching, bye for now,
Katrina

Looks like you had a fabulous time. Must say the hat does look a little on the large size. Dare say Hannah will grow into it.

I hope you, DH and Hannah have a happy and healthy 2009.
