A Couple of "Pretties"

My latest Just Nan biscornu is all finished and made up, wow, what a lot of stitching to it :)

When Barnabee met Bella Biscornu by Just Nan

stitched on Lilac and Ice Blue Belfast with DMC threads

After all the recent Just Nan stitching I thought it was time for change back to one of my other favourite designers so pulled out a Little House Needleworks chart pack, Busy Needle, an exclusive design by Diane Williams for the Busy Needle. It only took a few hours stitching and I think I'll make this into a flat fold.

Busy Needle by Little House Needleworks

stitched on 32ct Waterlily linen using Crescent Colours

Last night I finally made a start on the new Lizzie Kate Christmas Double Flips, I've been itching to start this for weeks now. Another new project I have lined up is this Blackbird Design, Blessings and Kind Wishes, Looose Feathers #31. My friend Petra from Sweden is coming out to New Zealand for a few weeks in late December so I thought this would be the perfect design to stitch for her. I've chosen a piece of R & R linen for it but can't remember what the colour is.

One of the newly released patterns by Victoria Sampler has really caught my eye, Christmas Treasures Collection. I thought this would be a lovely set to stitch for Hannah. Kath and I have been talking about stitching this as a SAL during 2009.

Hannah is doing great too, she's 16 weeks old today. Here's one of her latest pics:)

I hope our weather clears up soon, its been raining here since Sunday which means I have laundry hanging everywhere I can to get it dry. At least its not been heavy rain like they've had in other parts of New Zealand, some places have just gotten over floods from a few weeks ago and now they've had more flooding. Its good to know that spring is now only a short time away.

I love the biscornu, congrats on the finish and also on The Busy Bee design from LHN. My friend Lisa just finished stitching the first 8 words on the new Christmas Double Flips from LK and they are wonderful in both color and design. The new LF is on my list of things to stitch next too. Sweet baby pic, Happy Stitching, CJ(ok;-)
