A Bit of Stitching and Framing

Since the Olympics have been on, I've been working on a new project, Just Nan's When Barnabee met Bella biscornu. The blue side is all done and there's not much left to do on the lilac side. Once again, this Just Nan design has been so much fun to stitch.

I recently received back a bit of framing from my very talented friend. I let my friend pick out the mouldings and mat for the pieces and what a wonderful job she made of Hannah's baby sampler and Mum's birthday present.

It was my lovely Mum's birthday yesterday and she was absolutely thrilled with her present. The first thing she said to me was "when did you get time to stitch it" lol.

Its a beautiful winter's day out there today but not too cold so later on I will rug Hannah up and head out for a walk. I try to get out most days if its fine. I've also started taking Hannah to a new baby group each week so we'll be off there this afternoon to meet up with some of the new friends we've made :)

as always, many thanks for stopping by and leaving me a comment. I'm so happy to hear from you, my regular readers and new posters, a big hello to you all.

Gorgeous projects as always, Katrina!! I've just got the last design and a bit of the border to stitch on the L*K piece. I love how yours is framed!

Barnaby is looking lovely. The JN pieces are so pretty, I love the colors she uses in her designs. Both your framed pieces look fantastic. Your friend did a wonderful job picking the mat and framing combinations out. I'm a little over halfway done with my doubleflips now and can't wait to get it done, yours looks awesome all framed up.
