Quite a few pics to Share

Its been a quiet few days around here lately so there's been lots of time for stitching and finishing:)

I can finally say that all my 2007 Christmas ornaments have been made up. This is the last one, Rejoice by Lizzie Kate, a freebie you can find here.

Here's last month's Santa from the Prairie Schooler St Nicholas leaflet made up into a small pillow ornament.

I arrived home yesterday from work to find a package waiting for me from Carol, an early birthday present with all these lovely treats inside. You know me too well Carol, lol, I just love everything!!
a close up of the beautifully stitched and finished needleroll - Carol tells me the design is Indigo Rose's Aunt Jack, love the vibrant colours in it :)

Thanks again Carol, you've spoilt me once again dear friend!

Next up for this afternoon is the little pillow I made for a very dear special friend of mine, Kath, for an Easter exchange my little kiwi stitching group had recently. The design is a french freebie that I printed off many years ago now and when I went to search for it again, I couldn't find the link sorry.

This is the lovely basket of Easter treats I received from Kath, yum Cadbury creme eggs!

The little stitched piece, a Shepherd's Bush design

speaking of Easter, even with Donna staying with us and a few other things happening, I still found some time to work on a special project. This is for our baby's room, I've loved this design ever since it first came out.

Moon and Stars by Little House Needleworks

stitched on 32 ct misty blue belfast linen using Crescent Colour threads

And finally for today, March's Christmas ornament, seemed a little strange to be stitching a snowman design on a hot day, hee hee. This one is for my friend Petra in Sweden.

After last week's check up with our midwive, who found my blood pressure was up, I've decided to cut back my work hours as of this week. I'm now only going to be working half days unless I have a meeting to attend so I can spend what's left of the day resting. Today I had a follow up appointment and my blood pressure was pretty much the same as last week but no higher thank goodness. The blood tests I had done on Thursday have come back normal but its back for a visit again next Tuesday for weekly monitoring. Yay, I get to hear baby's heart beat each week, pretty happy to do that :)

What lovely finishes. You are doing a wonderful job on these projects. I agree - the little green pillow is my favorite. Sorry to hear the blood pressure is a little high but 1/2 days and more rest will hopefully help. Good luck

Congratulations on all of your finishes. They look great! Good for you on finishing your 2007 ornaments. Wish I could say I had mine finished, but I've still got them laying around from 2005... and probably before. :^O

Wow, so many beautiful pieces, I didn't know where to look, they are all gorgeous. Your framed LHN one will look wonderful on the nursery wall. Glad to hear that you are going to slow it down a little bit and that your BP didn't go any higher on the second check up. Take care of yourself.
