Here's a small finish from last week, another Santa from the Prairie Schooler St Nicholas leaflet.

I have a few other recent finishes to share, one I'll save for my next post, but two others are for an Easter Exchange and birthday present :)

I couldn't resist some of the recent Nashville market releases and they've started arriving in my mail box. Umm, which to stitch first, decisions, decisions, lol. I also decided to email Busy Needle about their Little House Needleworks exclusive kit and boy, what quick service, it was here from the US in less than a week!

(fat 1/4 32ct Jobelan waterlily, Cherry Blossoms Biscornu - Sweetheart Tree, The Needleworker - Little House Needleworks, French Country Baby Sampler and Amour - JBW Designs, Summer Garden - Country Cottage Needleworks and Busy Needle by LHN)

On Saturday I spent an enjoyable day out with some stitching buddies and we visited a couple of the local needlework shops. I came home with a few acquitions from my wish list, lol,

(Dragonfly II-Elizabeths Designs, latest Just Cross Stitch magazine, Rhodes Butterfly Biscornu -Sweetheart Tree, The Princess is In, Daughters are a Blessing, Let it Snow - JBW Designs, Three Santas and Christmas Dove - Sweetheart Tree)

But my favourite purchase of the day was this lovely sewing basket. I'd been looking for one like this for awhile now. I think I might take out the fabric panel though and stitch something for it instead.

I've already filled it up with some of my sewing accessories :)

righto, off now to organise dinner and then it will be time to settle in with my stitching for the rest of the evening. Tonight I'm starting a new project, a baby sampler for my one year old cousin, whoops, its only a year late, lol.

Take care xx

Wow, what a big haul of stash. Beautiful selection and I like the Jobelan fabric, that is my favorite color.

How exciting getting all that new stash. I love your sewing basket and what a lovely idea to change the top panel to a stitched design.

Hi Katrina... Don't you just love getting stash? Noticed you had a LHN exclusive kit I hadn't seen before, and have now gone ahead and ordered it from The Busy Needle. Thanks for the pic!
